key responsibilities:

1. vmc programming:

develop and implement g-code programs for machining operations using cam software.

optimize tool paths for efficiency and precision.

2. tool selection:

select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures based on material and machining requirements.

monitor and manage tool wear and replacements.

3. precision measurement:

perform dimensional and tolerance checks using advanced measuring instruments (., micrometers, calipers, cmm).

ensure components meet specified quality standards.

4. blueprint reading:

interpret engineering drawings, gd&t symbols, and technical specifications.

apply blueprint data for accurate machining and production.

5. cad/cam software:

use solid edge cad for designing components and assemblies.

program and simulate machining processes in nx cam software.

6. quality control:

conduct first-off inspections and collaborate with the quality team to address discrepancies.

continuously improve machining processes to reduce cycle time and improve output quality.

qualifications:
