• manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
• take a brief to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
• review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
• create rough and final cuts
• ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
• creating new designs like - icon creation, landing page, social media post, social media emailers, corporate identity, banner, poster, and brochure design
• draft mock-ups of website designs, brochures iconography, and any other marketing materials
• collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mock-ups are effective and use their feedback to develop final drafts
• revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
• work on multiple projects at once and consistently meet drafts deadlines
• communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
• other duties as requested.
