Senior VDI Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities:

Horizon administration, provisioning and managing desktop pools and Application pools

VMware Horizon View Infrastructure Upgrades ( of Connection Server,UAG, vCenter, ESXi, Appvolume, DEM)

Installation and configuration of App Volume (Writable & AppStacks) and UEM for Non Persistent Virtual Desktops

Creating App Stacks and Assign the App Stacks to the UsersGroups.

Using UEM for application profiling folder redirection condition based policies.

Troubleshooting Virtual Desktop issues & handling incidents on the same

Creating and Managing linked clones, instant clones and Full Clones POOLS.

Managing Master Images for application installs, upgrades and patching.

Basic Troubleshooting of vSphere, ESXi host & VM’s issue.

Managing hardware upgrades and firmware updates on physical / Baremetal servers.

Responsible for all technical documentation.
