Title: Junior- Offshore . Accounting Specialist

Location: Indore

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Tax Return Preparation: Support the tax team in the preparation of various . tax returns, including income tax returns, sales tax returns, and informational returns such as 1099s and 1042s.

2. Gather and Organize Tax Information: Collect and organize relevant financial data and documentation needed for tax filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

3. Data Entry and Recordkeeping: Input tax-related data into tax software or spreadsheets, maintaining meticulous records for future reference and audit purposes.

4. Tax Compliance Support: Aid in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by staying informed of changes in tax laws and regulations and assisting with the implementation of necessary adjustments.

5. Assist with Tax Research: Conduct research on tax issues and questions, utilizing online resources, tax codes, and regulatory guidance to provide accurate answers and solutions.

6. Coordinate with Internal Teams: Collaborate with finance, accounting, and other departments to obtain necessary information and ensure alignment between financial reporting and tax requirements.

7. Tax Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of tax provisions, estimates, and disclosures for financial reporting purposes, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.

8. Support Tax Audits and Inquiries: Assist in gathering requested documentation and information in response to tax authorities' inquiries or audits, working closely with the tax team to address any issues raised.

9. Stay Updated on Tax Law Changes: Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and regulations, attending training sessions and seminars as needed to enhance knowledge and skills.
