• assisting in developing the underwriting guidelines for each product to achieve profitability.

• aiding in carrying out regular market mapping to gain maximum market share along with maintaining profitability.

• underwrite transactions authority limits within defined tats

• recommend decisions for transactions beyond authority limits

• appropriate & timely resolution of escalations

• market mapping of uw guidelines

• identify the process lapses

• coordinate with it/support functions for rectification

• review underwriting guidelines periodically

• stay abreast with newer uw processes/suggest improvements in uw

• branch visits, update sales team latest changes in the uw requirements

• acquire required technical qualification and training.

• update and provide guidance to the new joiners about the internal as well as external processes

technical skills: retail underwriting, underwriting

soft skills: good communication skills, problem solving, interpersonal skills, analytical thinking

educational qualification: any graduate
