we are a trading company in the recycling industry established in uae for over 30 years

we are looking for a transportation manager to handle our fleet of 60 vehicles (comprising of pickups, heavy trucks, saloon cars and forklift)

job description

- obtain and maintain vehicle license and registrations

- monitor fuel usage

- negotiate prices with new and existing suppliers for spare parts, tyres, etc

- review driver work and regular inspection of vehicles

-maintain a vehicle log that shows a list of all company vehicles, mileage and other related information

- direct involvement for scheduling and monitoring repairs and maintenance of vehicles

- monitoring the transport costs and supporting the management in controlling operating costs, wherever possible

- arrangement of vehicle as per requirement of staff and management

key competencies:

-must have track record of 2-5 solid years’ experience

- uae experience an added advantage

-with technical knowledge on vehicles

-proficient with computer software programs such as microsoft word, excel

- ability to work with top management and employees on all levels
