Transformer Service Engineer - Palghar West,& Vasai Palghar

Job Description:

1. Supervision of installation, testing, and commission transformers.

2. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, short circuits, winding or core issues, etc.

3. Conduct site inspections, health checks, and preventive maintenance.

4. Coordinate with design and QA teams for field feedback and improvements.

5. Prepare and submit service reports and documentation.

6. Train customers/operators on proper use and upkeep of transformer systems.

7. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during field activities.

Maintain service tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory as required.

Qualification & Skills:

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Willingness to travel extensively for field work.

• MS Office Tools.

• 1-4 years of experience in transformer field.

• Knowledge of transformer construction, testing standards (IEC/IS), and protection schemes.

• Familiarity with tools like insulation resistance testers, oil test kits, etc required for site

testing and inspections.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):

• Experience in working with utilities or EPC contractors.

• Knowledge of safety compliance, ISO documentation, and customer audits.

• Basic understanding of SCADA, OLTC controls, or smart transformer systems.
