 Who was responsible for making precision tools (such as jigs, moulds and dies), special guides and holding devices, which are then used in the manufacturing process to make products. ... using machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines and grinders to cut and shape the tools.

 Operate various tool room equipment in the construction, alteration, and repair of tools, dies, fixtures, test equipment, manufacturing equipment or other related tool making functions.

 Hydraulics & Pneumatics Identification and familiarization of various types of hydraulic & pneumatic elements such as cylinder, valves, actuators and filters. Study of simple hydraulic & pneumatic circuits

 Identify different parts of press and different elements of different press tools. Demonstrate about safety precautions followed during working on press machine. Manufacture and assembly of different press tools viz., Blanking die, piercing die and progressive die.
