Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to teach Social Science to middle and secondary school students. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, effective classroom-management skills, and the ability to make concepts clear and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

* Teach Social Science to students according to the prescribed school curriculum.

* Prepare and deliver effective daily lesson plans.

* Teach subjects including History, Geography, Political Science/Civics and Economics as applicable.

* Explain concepts clearly using examples, activities, maps, discussions and other teaching methods.

* Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers and study materials.

* Conduct regular class tests, assessments and revision sessions.

* Evaluate answer sheets and maintain accurate student performance records.

* Identify students who require additional academic support and provide appropriate guidance.

* Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.

* Encourage students to participate in discussions, projects and classroom activities.

* Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.

* Participate in school meetings, events, examinations and other academic activities.

* Follow school policies, academic standards and professional teaching practices.

Candidate Requirements

* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science or a relevant subject.

* . or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school requirements.

* Previous teaching experience as a TGT Social Science Teacher preferred.

* Strong knowledge of school-level Social Science.

* Good communication and classroom-management skills.

* Ability to prepare lesson plans and teaching materials.

* Basic computer knowledge for academic and administrative work.

* Passion for teaching and student development.

Preferred Experience

2-5 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
