Job Summary:

The TGT - Social Studies is responsible for delivering high-quality education in the field of

Social Studies to students in grades 6-10. This role involves developing and implementing

effective lesson plans, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive and engaging

learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development:

- Develop comprehensive lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the school's

curriculum and educational standards.

- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies and technology to enhance the learning

experience.

Classroom Instruction:

- Conduct engaging and interactive Social Studies classes, ensuring that students are

actively involved in the learning process.

- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking

and discussion.

Student Assessment:

- Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate students'

understanding of Social Studies concepts.

- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.

Individualized Support:

- Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students by offering additional support

or challenges as required.

- Provide guidance and mentorship to students on academic and personal matters.

Parent Communication:

Maintain open and regular communication with parents or guardians to keep them informed

about students' progress, areas for improvement, and any behavioral concerns.
