Position Description:

Teach Telugu language and literature courses to Middle/High School Telugu students primary language (Language B). Act as a liaison between IAS administration, teaching staff.

Teach the history of Telugu literature with an emphasis on modern literature and selected literary works, literary skills including text handling, written and oral presentations

Academic Qualifications:

/. (or equivalent) from a recognized university;

/ TESOL/ or language teaching certificate desirable

Professional Experience:

At least three years of teaching experience or equivalent in a multi-cultural or international context

Able to create and teach interdisciplinary lessons.

Capacity to support the goals and mission of IAS through his/her personal philosophy.

Fluent in written and spoken Telugu.

Experienced dealing with youth ages 10-16

Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

Support IAS guiding principles

Teach up to 75% out of total instructional periods in a 6-day cycle.

Preparation, marking, report writing, and all other administration related to the teaching of the subject(s).

Participate in departmental meetings, planning, in-service training activities, and invigilation duties as required by the Head of Department or Coordinators.
