we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven lead generation specialist (telecaller) to join our dynamic sales team. the ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying leads through outbound calling efforts, ensuring that only high-potential leads are passed to the sales team for further conversion. as a lead generation specialist, you will play a crucial role in building a strong pipeline for our sales team by gathering information and creating interest among prospective customers.
key responsibilities:
lead generation & qualification:
make outbound calls to potential customers to generate new business leads.
qualify leads based on predefined criteria and collect relevant information such as contact details, company information, and customer needs.
engage in meaningful conversations with prospects, identifying their pain points and introducing the benefits of our products/services.
maintain accurate and up-to-date lead records in crm systems.
outbound calls & follow-ups:
conduct cold calling to identify new leads and opportunities.
follow-up with prospects via calls and emails to nurture relationships and generate interest in company offerings.
respond to inbound inquiries and engage in discovery calls to understand potential customer needs.
appointment scheduling:
set appointments for the sales team to meet with qualified prospects.
coordinate with sales representatives to ensure smooth transitions and accurate lead handover.
market research & data entry:
research and identify new leads through databases, online directories, social media, and other platforms.
regularly update and maintain the lead database, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
reporting & performance metrics:
meet weekly/monthly lead generation targets and kpis.
report on the status of leads, conversion rates, and other performance metrics as required by the sales/lead generation manager.
collaboration:
work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align on goals and strategies for lead generation.
provide feedback to improve lead generation strategies and campaign effectiveness.
skills & qualifications:
experience:
prior experience in a telecalling or lead generation role (1+ year preferred).
experience in b2b/b2c sales or telemarketing is a plus.
communication skills:
strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with prospects.
clear and confident phone etiquette.
organizational skills:
strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
proficiency in using crm software and ms office tools.

technical skills:
familiarity with crm platforms (salesforce, zoho, hubspot, etc.).
basic knowledge of ms excel and google sheets for data entry and reporting.
