About the Role

Desher Publishing Services Private Limited is hiring UG graduates to join our Editorial Department as Copyeditors / Technical Editors. This role begins as a 6-month contractual engagement, with the opportunity to be onboarded as a full-time employee upon successful completion of the contract period and performance evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria (Strictly Followed)

UG Graduates only

2025 Batch Fresher (6-month contract full-time)

2026 Batch Intern (6-month contract full-time, subject to eligibility)

Educational Background:

BA / BSc English

BSc Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, etc.)

Computer Science graduates are not eligible

PG graduates (any discipline) are not eligible

Engineering graduates are not eligible

Key Responsibilities

Copyedit and proofread academic manuscripts as per publisher-specific style guides

Ensure language clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy

Apply editorial standards for journals and books (STM / academic content)

Coordinate with internal editorial and production teams

Adhere strictly to quality benchmarks and turnaround times

Required Skills

Strong written English and comprehension skills

High attention to detail and editorial accuracy

Ability to understand scientific and academic content

Willingness to learn publisher workflows and style guides

Discipline to work under quality and deadline-driven environments
