About the Role

Desher Publishing Services Private Limited is hiring UG graduates to join our Editorial Department as Copyeditors / Technical Editors. This role begins as a 6-month contractual engagement, with the opportunity to be onboarded as a full-time employee upon successful completion of the contract period and performance evaluation.

Eligibility Criteria (Strictly Followed)

€¢ UG Graduates only

€¢ 2025 Batch €“ Fresher (6-month contract †’ full-time)

€¢ 2026 Batch €“ Intern (6-month contract †’ full-time, subject to eligibility)

€¢ Educational Background:

€¢ BA / BSc English

€¢ BSc Science disciplines (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, etc.)

€¢ Œ Computer Science graduates are not eligible

€¢ Œ PG graduates (any discipline) are not eligible

€¢ Œ Engineering graduates are not eligible

Key Responsibilities

€¢ Copyedit and proofread academic manuscripts as per publisher-specific style guides

€¢ Ensure language clarity, consistency, grammar, and technical accuracy

€¢ Apply editorial standards for journals and books (STM / academic content)

€¢ Coordinate with internal editorial and production teams

€¢ Adhere strictly to quality benchmarks and turnaround times

Required Skills

€¢ Strong written English and comprehension skills

€¢ High attention to detail and editorial accuracy

€¢ Ability to understand scientific and academic content

€¢ Willingness to learn publisher workflows and style guides

€¢ Discipline to work under quality and deadline-driven environments
