Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Assistance:
Assist engineers or senior technicians in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and routine maintenance of equipment, machinery, or systems.
Support the setup, calibration, and testing of technical equipment and instruments.
Perform basic repairs or adjustments under supervision.
Assist with the installation and configuration of hardware or software components (if IT-focused).
Documentation & Data Management:
Maintain accurate technical records, logs, and databases related to equipment maintenance, test results, project progress, and inventory.
Assist in preparing technical reports, presentations, manuals, and other documentation.
Ensure proper organization and archiving of technical drawings, specifications, and project files (both physical and digital).
Input and verify technical data accurately into relevant systems.
Operational & Project Support:
Assist in the procurement and management of technical materials, components, and tools.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, or other departments for technical queries or material delivery.
Provide administrative support to the technical team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Support project execution by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring adherence to project plans.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Adhere strictly to all quality control procedures, safety protocols, and company guidelines in all technical operations.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Report any technical issues, safety concerns, or discrepancies promptly.
Inventory Management (Technical):
Assist in monitoring stock levels of technical spares, consumables, and tools.
Help organize and maintain the technical store or inventory area.
Communication:
Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for local communication and understanding instructions. Good English proficiency is often required for reading technical manuals, preparing reports, and broader professional communication.
