managing our slow living monastery :making the best use of an old himalayan cottage for life changing self love and community living
lead the set-up and marketing of the slow living monastery project.
organise special events and camps at mathu mathu, our slow living monastery. mathu mathu means ��slowly, slowly�� in kumaiyya
direct a team of fellows and volunteers for set-up, operations, accounting, reporting
fundraising : raising funds through individual donors, funding agencies, csr for haijalo projects
raise a minimum of ,00,000/-. this amount will enable 10 pahadi youth to go through haijalo��s 15-month fellowship programme, where they set-up & operate social enterprises alongside running socio-environmental initiatives. it will also pay for your salary for 15 months, an office space and social activity costs during this time.
english language & tech support :
spend about 3 hours a week organising fun english language activities for fellows and students. think��book club, karaoke, watching english videos/movies, playing the crossword.
creating presentations and documents. sharing your digital skills with youth fellows.
local changemaking :
take the lead on any one of the socio-environmental issues in the table above (headings marked in yellow). you��ll be partnered by at least two pahadi fellows.
