Role Overview

Pepaco is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Master/Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in garment construction, cutting, stitching, and alterations €” particularly in men and women€™s ethnic and occasion wear. This role requires precision, time management, and commitment to quality finishing.

Key Responsibilities

€¢ Take accurate body measurements of clients

€¢ Cut, stitch, and finish garments according to design specifications

€¢ Specialize in ethnic wear such as blouses, lehengas, salwar suits, gowns, and bridal outfits for women.

€¢ Specialize in men outfits like Shirt, Pant/Trousers, and traditional outfits

€¢ Perform alterations and fittings with high precision

€¢ Ensure high-quality stitching and neat finishing

€¢ Conduct trial fittings and make necessary adjustments

€¢ Maintain delivery timelines and production schedules

€¢ Handle different fabrics including silk, chiffon, georgette, cotton, net, and heavy bridal materials

€¢ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace

Required Skills & Qualifications

€¢ Minimum 2-5+ years of tailoring experience

€¢ Strong knowledge of cutting, pattern-making, and garment construction

€¢ Experience in men€™s and women€™s ethnic wear preferred

€¢ Ability to work independently and in a team

€¢ Strong attention to detail

€¢ Good time management skills

€¢ Professional and respectful attitude toward clients

€¢ Women€™s wear stitching experience

€¢ Hand embroidery or finishing skills

€¢ Knowledge of modern blouse designs and current fashion trends

€¢ Ability to understand basic design sketches

Salary Range (India €“ Suggested)

€¢ Junior Tailor: ‚¹15,000 €“ ‚¹20,000 per month

€¢ Experienced Tailor: ‚¹20,000 €“ ‚¹25,000 per month

€¢ Freelance/Hourly Model: ‚¹300 €“ ‚¹500 per garment (depending on complexity)
