**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Altering Existing Clothing**: Modifying and repairing clothing items to improve fit or style, which may include hemming, taking in seams, or changing garment lengths.

- **Selecting Fabrics**: Choosing the right materials for each project based on color, texture, and fabric behavior, ensuring quality and durability.

- **Maintaining Equipment**: Keeping sewing machines and tools in good working condition by performing regular checks and minor repairs.
