Job Description

Job Title : Supplier Quality Engineer, Chennai.

Department : QA/QC

Immediate Superior : Supplier Quality Lead

Subordinates : NA

Position Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering with min 3 years’ experience in related operation field.

• Able to communicate in English.

• Able to address all Quality issues.

• Basic knowledge in Welding & QMS System.

• Able to understand all technical drawings.

• Able to use all kinds of measurement equipment. Ready to travel for inspection if need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Doing PPAP inspection and PDI on completed orders and making reports with pics in the provided format.

 Ensuring all the products are as per drawing requirement and submission of the report in a timely manner.

 Follow up on orders and provide a daily report to the immediate superior.

 Visual inspection on welding & HDG to be done as per requirement.

 Need to handle in-process inspection if needed.

 Ad-hoc activities are given by a superior.

 Supporting superior on preparing CAPA report if any NCR raised.

AUTHORITIES

 Releasing PPAP and PDI report.

Accountable

 For all measurement and inspection reports.

 For other reports (Daily activity report, Inspection Summary).
