key skillsets:

- skilled in finite element analysis;

- produce and update the necessary structural drawings according to plan.

- well-versed in life extension projects;

- well versed in relevant legal regulations and standards;

- able to establish and maintain good communication with clients and authorities;

responsibilities:

- execution of all structural designs in accordance with project requirements, and all other relevant standard and requirements.

- drawing up overall and specific stage program in line with “project schedule” agreed.

- delegation of works to supporting staff and supervision of their works.

- liaison with project consultants and other external bodies as may be necessary for the progress of works.

- production of relevant reports and drawings with specifications in line with an agreed project plan.

- analysis of the works scope and reporting to senior management team.

- production of structural engineering calculations, specifications and reports in accordance with project requirements for submission to external bodies for comments/approval as may be necessary.

requirement:

- experience in shipbuilding, marine & offshore industries preferred;

- professional engineer status an advantage;

- all work permits will be arranged by employer;

- able to start work march, option to work remotely for the 1st 3 months and then fly to project location;
