Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer in our Kolkata office, you will play a critical role in the design, analysis, and implementation of various construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety and stability of structures while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design Development: Create detailed structural designs using software tools, ensuring they meet the required standards and project specifications.

- Analysis of Structures: Evaluate the performance of building components by conducting load and stress analysis to ensure the integrity and stability of the structure.

- Collaboration with Project Teams: Work closely with architects and other engineers to integrate structural designs with overall project plans and to resolve any design conflicts.

- Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections during the construction phase to ensure that structural components are built according to the approved designs and specifications.

- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports and project documentation that outline designs and analyses to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.

- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and building codes, adapting to changes as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 3 to 9 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in structural design software is essential, alongside a strong understanding of engineering principles. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are also crucial for collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
