- **Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries**: Accept deliveries and check them against purchase orders, ensuring all items are in good condition and correctly accounted for.
- **Organizing Storage Areas**: Keep the storage area tidy and well-organized, making it easy to access items when needed and maintaining an efficient workflow.
- **Stock Record Maintenance**: Maintain accurate records of stock movements in the inventory management system, which helps in tracking usage and identifying discrepancies quickly.
- **Assisting with Stock Audits**: Participate in regular stock audits, supporting the team in validating that the physical stock matches inventory records.
- **Safety and Security Compliance**: Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure the security of the inventory and compliance with regulations.
To succeed in this role, you should be detail-oriented, able to work independently as well as part of a team, and have good organizational skills. A basic understanding of inventory management systems is a plus but not necessary for freshers. Strong communication skills are important for collaborating with team members and other departments effectively.
