Job Description

• to handle full import process - procure to pay

• import of chemicals as rm, instruments, machines, engineering items etc required for chemical industry.

• import sourcing, planning and issuance of import orders to suppliers.

• negotiations with vendors, inventory planning and timely clearance of goods at optimum cost by following up with customs /cha

• co-ordination with shipping companies, air lines, courier companies, forwarders, dgft, dgad, dgci as per requirement.

• well verse of exim policy and self updation related with import laws.

• import related mis reports

• lc drafting and issuance.

• timely submission of bill of entries to banks.

• to obtain various licenses and permits from respective agencies like cib , drug controller, bafa.

desired profile:

must be from chemical industry having experience of import of chemicals as rm, instruments, plant & machinery and various engineering items.

educational qualification:

(chemical) /.(chem)/. (chem) + dipl in international trade or import-export, mba (desirable).

reporting to vice president.
