SQL DBA

• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools.

• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards

• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.

• PowerShell scripting skills.

• Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Impeccable attention to detail.

• MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred.

• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments.

• Extensive experience with database technologies in MSSQL.

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus.

• Assist with schema design, code review, SQL query tuning.

• Install, implement and upgrade DBMS installations.

• Write and deploy SQL patches.

• Upgrade and improve application schema and data upgrades.

• Must have extensive and proven troubleshooting and administration experience in large and mission critical enterprise environments.

• Must have good knowledge on high availability features like log shipping, Clustering, Replication.

• Specialized Data Handling.

• Capacity Planning.

• Performance Monitoring.

• Exposure to MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB are added advantages.
