We are looking for a Chef from southern part of India who has expertise in South Indian cuisine. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition of goals.
Responsibilities
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (., chopping vegetables or preparing sauces)
Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report, and follow executive or sous chefs instructions
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and employees.
Listens to employees complaints and suggestions and resolves complaints.
Requirements and skills
2+ years of proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
Familiar with industrys best practices
