Hiring Solar Engineer For Mumbai

About the Role

Solarsphere Energy is looking for a hands-on Solar Project Engineer who can handle rooftop solar installations end-to-end. The ideal candidate should be able to understand solar system design & SLDs, perform electrical work, and lead installation teams at sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys, load analysis, and feasibility checks

- Understand and interpret solar PV design, SLDs, and layout drawings

- Execute rooftop installations: module mounting, wiring (AC/DC), earthing, conduit laying

- Perform electrical work including inverter installation, DB wiring, protections, testing

- Lead and supervise on-site teams & contractors

- Monitor project timelines and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards

- Manage BOQ, material planning, and vendor coordination

- Assist with documentation, commissioning reports, and handover

- Coordinate with DISCOM teams for net-metering where needed

Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / in Electrical, Electronics, or Renewable Energy

- 14 years of experience in solar rooftop projects (freshers with strong basics may apply)

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, protections, and solar plant components

- Ability to read and create SLDs (AutoCAD preferred)

- Willingness to travel to project sites
