Hiring Solar Engineer For Mumbai

about the role

solarsphere energy is looking for a hands-on solar project engineer who can handle rooftop solar installations end-to-end. the ideal candidate should be able to understand solar system design & slds, perform electrical work, and lead installation teams at sites.

key responsibilities

- conduct site surveys, load analysis, and feasibility checks

- understand and interpret solar pv design, slds, and layout drawings

- execute rooftop installations: module mounting, wiring (ac/dc), earthing, conduit laying

- perform electrical work including inverter installation, db wiring, protections, testing

- lead and supervise on-site teams & contractors

- monitor project timelines and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards

- manage boq, material planning, and vendor coordination

- assist with documentation, commissioning reports, and handover

- coordinate with discom teams for net-metering where needed

skills & qualifications

- diploma / in electrical, electronics, or renewable energy

- 14 years of experience in solar rooftop projects (freshers with strong basics may apply)

- strong understanding of electrical systems, protections, and solar plant components

- ability to read and create slds (autocad preferred)

- willingness to travel to project sites
