job description:

we seek a highly motivated and experienced solar engineer to join our growing team in ernakulam. in this role, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of solar energy projects for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.

responsibilities:

- conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to assess the suitability of solar power for potential clients.

- design and engineer photovoltaic (pv) solar systems using industry-standard software.

- develop technical specifications, drawings, and bill of materials (bom) for solar projects.

- oversee the procurement of solar panels, inverters, and other necessary equipment.

- collaborate with construction crews to ensure proper installation of solar systems according to design plans.

- perform quality checks and inspections throughout the installation process.

- assist with system commissioning and testing to ensure optimal performance.

- provide technical support to clients after system installation.

- stay up to date on the latest advancements in solar technology and industry best practices.

- participate in project meetings and discussions to provide technical expertise.

qualifications:

- minimum 3 years of experience as a solar engineer or a related field.

- bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- strong understanding of solar pv systems, components, and design principles.

- proficiency in solar design software (., pvsyst, autocad).

- excellent knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.

- experience with solar project management

- excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- valid driver's license (preferred).
