2. JD- Software Tester:

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain functional regression suites with Selenium, Cucumber, or Robot Framework.

• Design and run performance, load, and stress tests (JMeter/Gatling/Locust); analyse and report findings.

• Integrate automated tests into Jenkins/GitLab CI; enforce quality gates.

• Use Docker and Kubernetes to create and manage test environments.

• Perform network traffic capture and analysis with Wireshark to identify protocol-level issues during testing.

• Produce test plans, traceability matrices, and defect reports; drive bug triage.

• Promote shift-left testing—pair with developers on unit/contract coverage.

• Monitor production metrics and refine test suites post-incident.

Must-Have Skills

• Proven automation expertise (Selenium WebDriver, Robot, or Cucumber) and Python/Java/JS scripting.

• Solid performance-testing experience with tuning recommendations.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in test environments.

• Proficiency in network debugging using Wireshark.

• Understanding of HTTP, WebSocket, and microservice architectures.

• Familiarity with test-management tools and Jira.
