role overview:

the society manager will act as the primary liaison between the managing committee and society members, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and member satisfaction. this role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple functions including administration, finance, and facility management.

key responsibilities:

serve as the first point of escalation for all member issues and complaints.

act as an agent between the managing committee and members, ensuring transparent communication.

manage finance, compliance, and administrative tasks with diligence and accuracy.

review, formalize, and enforce standard operating procedures (sops) for efficient functioning of the housing society.

supervise service management teams (housekeeping, security) and ensure adherence to sops.

lead and oversee annual maintenance contracts (amcs) and their implementation.

prepare and share daily and monthly work reports with the managing committee.

maintain files and registers as per housing society bye-laws.

supervise repair and maintenance work as required.

assist the managing committee in supplier identification and obtaining techno-commercial offers.

oversee accounting entries, vouchers, and ensure proper documentation.

lead verbal and written communication with members regarding society services.

preferred skills & qualifications:

strong understanding of housing society bye-laws, administration, and facility management.

excellent communication skills in english, hindi, and marathi.

ability to work on-ground and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

proficiency in basic accounting and documentation practices.

important notes before applying:

must be comfortable with 6-day work week including weekends.

this is not a desk job; requires active presence and mobility within society premises.

preferred candidates: residing in south or central mumbai.
