Job Role and Responsibilities:

*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Social Science lessons (History, Geography, Civics) in alignment with the CBSE syllabus.

*Develop and implement lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools that promote critical thinking and understanding of social, political, and economic concepts.

*Maintain accurate records of students- academic progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.

*Conduct classroom assessments, periodic tests, and prepare students for board examinations.

*Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.

*Integrate ICT tools and creative teaching methods to make learning interactive and effective.

*Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and professional development programs.

*Ensure discipline and uphold the values and ethos of the institution.

*Collaborate with other teachers and school administration for curriculum planning and co-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

*Bachelor-s/Master-s Degree in History / Geography / Political Science /MSW.

*. (mandatory, as per CBSE norms).

*Minimum 01-05 years of teaching experience in CBSE school preferred.

*Primary: candidates should handle primary classes.

*Secondary: Candidates should handle 6th to 10th in CBSE syllabus.

*Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

*Ability to motivate and inspire students.

*Familiarity with CBSE examination pattern and evaluation process.
