Job Description

Job Responsibility of Medical Shop Incharge:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the medical shop including inventory management, customer service, and employee scheduling.

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to the sale of prescription medications and other healthcare products.

• Work with healthcare providers and hospitals to source and stock the most appropriate products for their patients.

• Oversee and train staff members on proper procedures for handling and dispensing medication, as well as customer service protocols.

• Respond to customer questions and concerns regarding medications, products, and services offered by the medical shop.

• Create and maintain accurate records of all transactions, including prescription orders, payments, and inventory levels.

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the medical shop to the community and attract new customers.

• Continuously assess and improve upon the quality of services and products offered by the medical shop.

• Cash management as per company policy.

• Product promotion planning and focus on increase sales.

• Manage and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical company representatives to ensure timely delivery of new products and promotions.

• Monitor sales figures and adjust inventory levels as needed to maximize profitability while minimizing waste or spoilage.

• Compliance: The incharge is responsible for ensuring that the pharmacy adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring that employees are appropriately certified, signing regulatory paperwork, and making sure that all pharmacy procedures follow local, state, and national regulations.

• Follow instructions from the manager

• Handle counter - entry and sortie

• Take purchase entry of goods

• Make cash invoices and credit invoices

• Maintain stock - purchase order, dead stock list, maintain expiry date of products

• Maintain cleanliness in depot

• Put laptops in locker
