ServiceNow CMDB Consultant - Full Time

About the Role

We are seeking an expert-level ServiceNow CMDB Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMDB architecture, discovery tools, service mapping, and ITIL processes, along with proven experience in process governance, data accuracy, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CMDB architecture aligned with ITIL best practices.

• Lead end-to-end CMDB strategy, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Integrations, and Data Normalization.

• Define and enforce Configuration Item (CI) classification, relationships, and lifecycle management.

• Assess and remediate CMDB data gaps, duplication, and compliance issues.

• Build and maintain CMDB dashboards, reports, health scorecards, and governance frameworks.

• Collaborate with ITSM, ITOM, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams to ensure consistent CI data usage across processes.

• Implement automation scripts, workflows, and policies to enhance CMDB accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct CMDB audits and maturity assessments, and drive continuous improvements.

• Train stakeholders and provide technical leadership and best practice guidance.
