Job Title: Service Engineer
Job Summary: The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment at customer sites. The role requires strong technical skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Install, commission, and test company equipment at client locations. Perform routine maintenance and preventive checks on machines/equipment. Diagnose technical problems and provide effective solutions. Attend customer service calls promptly and resolve issues within the stipulated time. Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and feedback records. Coordinate with the production/technical team for unresolved issues and major repairs. Train customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting. Ensure all service activities comply with company safety and quality standards. Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and service materials. Support the sales team by providing technical input when required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, or related field. 1-2 years of experience in service, maintenance, or technical support (freshers can also apply if applicable). Strong knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, and troubleshooting methods. Good communication and customer interaction skills. Ability to work independently and handle field visits/travel. Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation. Preferred Skills: Experience in industrial machinery / manufacturing equipment (customize as needed). Ability to handle on-site challenges and manage customer expectations.
