Service & Application Engineer (3-9 Years)

Position: Position will be based on relevant work Experience & Current Job Profile, Based in Pune.

Job Description :

The Service Manager will have overall responsibility for the execution and completion of equipment/machine installation, providing after sales service support & application support to equipment installations in India.

Lead & manage the service support & maintenance department, including training and performance management of service personnel.

To receive & attend the service / breakdown calls and provide the resolution to the customers with set service standards.

Supervise and make service plan for Installation & Commissioning, Warranty, AMC, Breakdown & Courtesy visits.

Coordinate with the technical team from OEMs and ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests, work orders and documentation.

Requirement :

An affinity with handling metal 3D printing machines, CNC/PLC and Robotic based machines, Automation and Control Systems.

Knowledge about the troubleshooting, repair and service of 3D Printers / CNC Machine Tools / Special Purpose Machines

Hands-on experience of handling imported sophisticated high end scientific instruments / capital equipment/ machine tools is desired.

Hands on Experience with Vacuum Systems and Control Instrumentation will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of CAD/CAM software applications, 3D Printing Software will be added advantage

Ability to read schematic& electronics circuit diagrams, and experience in testing/calibration of machine.

Experience of working with control panel, drive systems, complete system integration including hardware & software.

Experience of working with high and low voltage circuitry will be an added advantage.

Good communication skills in English & Hindi. Any additional regional language will be an added advantage.

Additionally, Knowledge of Laser based and Electron Beam based systems will be added advantage.

Willingness to travel across the country as and when required.

Candidate Qualification:

BTech/ MTech in E&TC/ Electronics / Mechatronics / Instrumentation/ Mechanical

Work Experience: Hands-on and relevant experience in Maintenance/Service of Electronics/Electro-Mechanical Systems/CNC/PLC Machine Tools/ Special Purpose Machines (will be preferred).
