We are looking for Senior Structural Engineer for MNC EPC Company @ Chennai TN

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;

Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on process modules and skids.

Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.

In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, and API.

Proficiency in structural analysis software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.

Able to utilize or instruct others on advanced structural analysis software, such as , SAP2000, RISA or equivalent, to perform complex simulations and assessments.

The Senior Structural Engineer is accountable for overseeing all structural aspects of a project. Key duties include supporting sales and project teams, developing designs for process modules and skids, structural analysis, reviewing engineering drawings, and conducting feasibility studies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Support sales activities by reviewing and providing guidance on structural requirements

Develop detailed structural designs for process modules and skids, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Analyze past project issues and implement strategies to prevent them.

Perform or review structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the strength, stability, and performance of designed structures.

Create and review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation related to structural designs.

Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential design issues and implement effective solutions.

Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.

Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and process engineers, to integrate structural designs with other systems.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.

Facilitate effective communication between project teams, clients, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Participate in design reviews, workshops, and coordination meetings to address technical challenges and optimize designs.

Ensure all structural designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct thorough quality checks and audits of engineering deliverables to maintain high standards of accuracy and reliability.
