job summary:

we are looking for a talented and detail-oriented design engineer with expertise in heavy construction and mining equipment design. the ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of hydraulic circuit design and be proficient in solidworks for developing complete mechanical and hydraulic systems.

key responsibilities:

design and develop heavy construction and mining equipment, focusing on hydraulic and mechanical systems.

create concept designs, detailed designs, 3d models, and 2d drawings using solidworks.

design and develop hydraulic piping systems, layouts, and circuits for equipment.

select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, etc.) based on functional and performance requirements.

conduct design validation, tolerance analysis, and performance testing.

collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, testing, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

prepare and maintain design documentation, boms, and technical reports.

lead or assist in design reviews and implement necessary design improvements.
