Senior Design Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Design Engineer

Experience: 3 to 10 Years experience in hydraulic circuit design and Heavy Construction and Mining Equipment Design.

Location: Roorkee

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with expertise in Heavy Construction and Mining Equipment Design. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of hydraulic circuit design and be proficient in SolidWorks for developing complete mechanical and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop heavy construction and mining equipment, focusing on hydraulic and mechanical systems.

Create concept designs, detailed designs, 3D models, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.

Design and develop hydraulic piping systems, layouts, and circuits for equipment.

Select appropriate hydraulic components (pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, hoses, etc.) based on functional and performance requirements.

Conduct design validation, tolerance analysis, and performance testing.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, testing, and procurement) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.

Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and technical reports.

Lead or assist in design reviews and implement necessary design improvements.

Required Skills and Qualification:

Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and components used in heavy equipment.

Proficiency in SolidWorks and related design tools.

Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and material selection.

Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in design of excavators, loaders, dumpers, or other off-highway equipment.

Exposure to design validation and prototype testing
