Responsibilities:

Design lighting fixtures and systems for various applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Develop detailed drawings and specifications for lighting products, including luminaire layout, wiring diagrams, and mounting details.

Collaborate with product development teams to prototype and test new lighting designs, making necessary adjustments for performance and manufacturability.

Work closely with manufacturing teams to support production processes, address design-related issues, and optimize efficiency.

Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams, assisting with product presentations, customer inquiries, and project proposals.

Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and regulations in the lighting industry, integrating new knowledge into design practices and product development strategies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Solidworks, Nirvana, and BricsCad.

Minimum 5 years of experience in design engineering, with a focus on lighting systems or fixtures.

Strong understanding of lighting design principles, photometry, and electrical systems.

Familiarity with industry standards such as IESNA, ANSI, and UL requirements.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
