Core Responsibilities
Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter and detect suspicious activity
Monitor entrances and exits to control access to the premises
Observe and report any unusual behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches
Enforce company rules and safety regulations consistently
Safety & Incident Response
Respond promptly to emergencies, including alarms, medical situations, or disturbances
Assist in evacuations during fire, natural disasters, or other emergencies
De-escalate conflicts and handle situations calmly and professionally
Detain suspects when legally permitted and hand over to law enforcement
Surveillance & Monitoring
Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment
Maintain awareness of surroundings through observation and surveillance
Report equipment malfunctions or security system failures
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports
Document incidents, violations, and actions taken clearly and objectively
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and emergency services
Customer Service & Professional Conduct
Provide assistance and directions to employees, visitors, and customers
Represent the organization professionally at all times
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Access Control & Asset Protection
Verify identification and credentials
Prevent theft, vandalism, and property damage
Safeguard people, property, and assets
