about the role

we are seeking an experienced sap brim fica technical consultant to join our team. the ideal candidate should have strong expertise in sap brim (billing & revenue innovation management) with a focus on fica (contract accounts receivable and payable). the role involves designing, developing, and supporting technical solutions that integrate with various sap brim components including convergent charging (cc), convergent invoicing (ci), som, and subscription billing.

key responsibilities

* analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs for sap brim fica solutions.

* develop, enhance, and maintain abap objects (reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, conversions) within sap fica.

* implement custom developments, user exits, badis, and enhancements in sap brim/fica modules.

* work closely with functional consultants in brim, ci, cc, som, and subscription billing to deliver end-to-end solutions.

* integrate sap fica with external systems (., payment gateways, crm, banking systems).

* support billing, invoicing, dunning, payment processing, account determination, and collections processes in fica.

* troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal business impact.

* participate in full lifecycle sap brim implementation projects (design, development, testing, deployment, support).

* provide technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions.

required skills & qualifications

* bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

* 5+ years of sap technical development experience(minimum 2+ years in sap brim/fica).

* strong hands-on expertise in abap development (ricef objects).

* in-depth understanding of fica processes: dunning, collections, account posting, clearing, payments, refunds, and write-offs.

* experience in brim integration: ci, cc, som, subscription billing.

* knowledge of fi-ca tables, events, and enhancement spots.

* good understanding of web services, bapis, rfcs, and idocs.

* familiarity with sap s/4hana and brim architecture.

* strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

* excellent communication and client-facing skills.

preferred skills

* experience in sap brim implementation projects.

* knowledge of cloud integration (sap cpi).

* exposure to agile methodologies / devops.

* sap certification in brim or fica (optional but preferred).
