Job Description: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAC Planning, Data Modeling, Performance Optimization, and Integration with SAP On-Premise and Cloud systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP Analytics technologies and proven experience delivering enterprise-grade planning and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

SAC Planning & Modeling

Design, develop, and implement SAC Planning models, including data models, allocations, calculations, and planning functions.

Configure SAC system settings, version management, data actions, multi-actions, and advanced formulas.

Build interactive dashboards, visualizations, and planning templates.

SAC Integration

Integrate SAC with On-premise and Cloud data sources using both:

Live Data Connections

Acquired Data Connections

Work with S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA, and other SAP/non-SAP systems for seamless data connectivity.

Performance Troubleshooting

Analyze and resolve SAC performance issues, including:

Slow dashboards

Long-running queries

Model performance tuning

Apply best practices in performance optimization and model design.

Content Lifecycle Management

Manage SAC content transport using Content Delivery methods (export/import, content networks).

Ensure proper versioning, migration, and release management across environments.

SAP Analytics & BTP Exposure

Work with broader SAP analytics tools such as:

S/4HANA Embedded Analytics

BW/4HANA Queries/Providers

SAP Fiori applications

SAP BTP applications

BI and visualization tools

Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to deliver scalable analytics solutions.

Required Skills

6+ years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

SAC Planning

Data modeling & system configuration

Live & Acquired data connections

SAC performance troubleshooting

Content Delivery / Content Transport

Good understanding of SAP ecosystems such as S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, HANA, and SAP BTP.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting scenarios.

Exposure to Analytics Designer, scripting, custom widgets (optional).

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
