role: sap administrator
responsibilities:
1. sap system administration: install, configure, and maintain sap systems, including erp (enterprise resource planning), crm (customer relationship management), bw (business warehouse), and other relevant modules.
2. system monitoring: monitor the health, performance, and availability of sap systems, identify and resolve issues, and proactively take necessary actions to prevent disruptions.
3. user management: create and manage user accounts, roles, authorizations, and profiles within the sap environment, ensuring proper access controls and security.
4. system upgrades and patching: plan and execute sap system upgrades, updates, and patch installations, following best practices and minimizing downtime.
5. performance tuning: analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize system configurations, and implement performance improvement measures.
6. backup and recovery: develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for sap systems, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
7. incident resolution: respond to and resolve user-reported issues related to sap applications, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely and effective solutions.
8. change management: coordinate and manage system changes, including configuration changes, transports, and system configurations, adhering to change management processes.
9. documentation and reporting: maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures. generate reports on system performance, incidents, and other relevant metrics as required.
10. collaboration and support: collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, infrastructure teams, and business users, to support integration, testing, and implementation of sap solutions.
requirements:
1. education: bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. sap certifications are a plus.
2. experience: minimum of 7-9 years.
