interior design sales representative
responsibilities:
lead generation and qualification: identify potential clients through various channels, assess their needs and budget, and qualify them as suitable leads.
client consultation: greet and consult with clients, discuss project goals, desired aesthetics, and budget.
product and service presentation: showcase the company's design services, furniture, materials, and other design elements that align with client needs.
proposal creation: develop proposals outlining design services, product recommendations, and project timelines with clear pricing.
sales negotiation and closing: negotiate contracts, address client concerns, and close sales effectively.
project support: provide ongoing client support throughout the design process, answer questions, and ensure client satisfaction.
maintaining showroom: (for showroom positions) contribute to a visually appealing and organized showroom environment.
staying current on trends: continuously learn about new design trends, products, and industry best practices.
qualifications:
minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, furniture, or a related field (preferred)
strong understanding of interior design principles and trends
excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
ability to build rapport and trust with clients
customer service focus with a commitment to exceeding expectations
sales negotiation and closing skills
proficiency in design software (a plus)
excellent time management and organizational skills
