Sales Experience in Gold Industry Sales Executive

Job Description

Business Development: Identify and onboard new gold/jewelry retail partners, wholesalers, and corporate clients to expand market footprint, particularly across designated territories.

Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with key clients to ensure repeat business, upselling new gold collections, and handling client queries effectively.

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly/annual targets. Conduct market analysis to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and product trends.

Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire cycle, including prospecting, presentation/demonstration of gold products, negotiation, order placement, and successful payment collection.

Market Representation: Represent the organization in exhibitions, trade fairs, and B2B events to promote product lines and build brand visibility.

Operational Coordination: Work with stock, accounts, and operations teams to ensure timely dispatch and inventory availability.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience in gold, silver, or diamond jewellery (Export market experience is a plus).

Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of gold/jewellery products, market dynamics, and current jewellery trends.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills:

Negotiation & Closing: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to secure deals.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills (regional language proficiency often required for specific territories).

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.

Analytics: Ability to interpret data to inform strategic sales recommendations.

Mobility: High willingness to travel for client meetings and exhibitions.
