roles and responsibilities of sales executives β jewelry store
1. customer engagement & relationship building
greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
understand customer needs and preferences to provide personalized product recommendations.
build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
2. sales & revenue generation
actively promote and sell jewelry products to meet or exceed individual and store sales targets.
upsell and cross-sell complementary items to enhance the overall shopping experience.
participate in promotional and marketing initiatives to drive store footfall and sales.
3. product knowledge & presentation
maintain in-depth knowledge of the storeβs product range, including materials, craftsmanship, pricing, and certifications.
clearly explain product features, quality standards, and after-sales services to customers.
ensure proper handling and display of jewelry items to maintain store aesthetics and product integrity.
4. inventory management & stock control
assist in inventory tracking and stocktaking processes.
report low stock levels and coordinate with the store manager for timely replenishment.
ensure all items are properly tagged and stored in accordance with store policies.
5. operational compliance
adhere to all security protocols to minimize risk and ensure the safety of merchandise and personnel.
follow billing, cash handling, and documentation procedures with accuracy and integrity.
ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations, including quality and authenticity standards.
6. after-sales support
provide guidance on jewelry maintenance, care, and warranty services.
address customer concerns, returns, and repairs professionally and efficiently.
follow up with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage loyalty.
7. team collaboration
work collaboratively with fellow team members and management to achieve overall store objectives.
participate in regular training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
support new team members with onboarding and guidance, when required.
