The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales and marketing team to drive business growth in the chemical and industrial products sector. This position involves operational coordination, client interaction, and strategic support to ensure smooth sales processes, effective market penetration, and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Coordination
• Assist the sales team with order processing, quotations, proposals, and client communication.
• Coordinate with logistics, technical, and finance departments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, orders, and client communications.
Client Management & Interaction
• Handle customer inquiries and provide product information.
• Ensure smooth communication between clients and the sales team.
• Support account managers in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Provide technical support and timely updates to clients.
Lead Generation & Business Development
• Track and follow up on leads generated through exhibitions, online platforms, industrial networks, and referrals.
• Identify and approach potential customers, distributors, and OEMs to expand market reach.
• Convert leads into business opportunities through effective follow-up and relationship management.
Strategy & Market Research
• Support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in industrial segments such as coatings, adhesives, construction chemicals, and polymers.
• Compile competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements for management reporting.
Promotional Activities & Communication
• Assist in planning and executing product presentations, seminars, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, product data sheets, social media posts, email campaigns).
Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly sales performance reports and submit periodic business updates to management.
• Monitor market feedback and competitor analysis to support sales strategy.
• Maintain and update customer and industry contact databases.
Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales coordination, sales support, or marketing within the chemical or industrial products sector.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, technical product marketing, and industrial applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital marketing platforms.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills with attention to detail.
