Sales Branch Manager (1-4 Years)

Key Responsibilities

Branch Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

Revenue Ownership: Develop and execute localized sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and territory plans to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual branch targets.

Key Account & Deal Closure: Identify high-value business leads, build long-term relationships with key regional clients, and actively participate in high-stakes sales negotiations and contract closures.

Market Expansion: Analyze local competitor activities, market trends, and customer demand to identify untapped business opportunities and expand the branch's client base.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Sales Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise field sales executives, inside sales reps, and counter sales staff to ensure peak productivity.

Target Setting & Review: Establish clear individual sales targets (KPIs), conduct daily/weekly pipeline reviews, evaluate performance metrics, and implement coaching or corrective plans as needed.

Recruitment & Training: Onboard and train new sales personnel on product catalogs, sales pitch standards, objection handling, and CRM usage.

Branch Operations & Financial Oversight

P&L & Budget Management: Monitor branch operating expenses, oversee local sales budgets, and ensure branch profitability while maintaining operational cost controls.

Inventory & Collections: Coordinate with supply chain/warehouse teams to ensure optimal inventory availability; actively monitor customer credit terms and oversee timely accounts receivable collections.

Reporting & Compliance: Submit regular sales forecasts, conversion reports, and expense logs to regional/corporate leadership, ensuring all branch activities comply with internal SOPs and statutory norms.
