Safety Officer

Technical/Professional Skills:

- Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.

- Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety.

- Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.

- Is able to work in shifts

- Should be a good team player

Major Job Responsibilities:

- Issuing Work permits and monitoring the permit check point-s implementation.

- Planning and conducting an internal inspection in the plant to ensure work environment safety.

- Plant rounding to identify Safety deviations/violations in Work Activity.

- Monitoring the Critical Raw materials handling

- Investigating the Route cause/s behind the near-miss/ incidents and providing necessary controls to mitigate the risk.

- Procurement of safety Equipment, instruments & PPE through Purchase order.

- Preparation of the monthly reports and weekly reports.

- Preparation of Department Environmental Impact Assessment

- Conducting calendar Training for Regular & Contract employees.

- Conducting Shop floor training to the bottom level employees.

- Safety equipment inspections based on the schedules.

- IMS files updating as per schedule.

- Monitoring of MEE and ETP plants.

- Maintenance and servicing of fire equipment.
