the affluent relationship manager is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth (hni) clients. this role involves providing personalized financial solutions, building strong client relationships, and achieving business targets through cross-selling and upselling various banking products and services.

key responsibilities:

client acquisition: identify and acquire new hni clients through various channels, including referrals, networking, and market outreach activities.

relationship management: build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing affluent clients, understanding their financial needs and objectives.

financial planning: provide customized financial solutions to clients based on their individual needs, including investment advisory, wealth management, and portfolio diversification.

product knowledge: possess in-depth knowledge of the bank's products and services, including deposits, loans, investments, insurance, and other wealth management offerings.

cross-selling & upselling: proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell relevant banking products and services to existing clients.

portfolio management: monitor client portfolios, track performance, and provide regular updates and recommendations.

compliance: ensure adherence to all regulatory guidelines, compliance policies, and internal procedures.

market awareness: stay updated on market trends, economic conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.

customer service: provide exceptional customer service and resolve client queries and issues promptly and efficiently.

documentation: maintain accurate client records and documentation.

qualifications and skills:

bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. mba or other relevant professional certifications (., cfp, wealth management certifications) are preferred.
