The Seafood Sales Head will help in a fast paced growth of Numer8s seafood business across India.
The purpose of the role is to develop an efficient supply chain business directly with fisherfolks in India and to implement strategy to generate revenue, market growth/penetration and market return for the region.
The role is responsible for ensuring that there is an effective retailer network in place, developing and implementing plan(s) for the region that optimizes revenue and returns
Define sales strategy for the region. This includes define where to play (market sizing, geography and channel priorities), how to win (route to market & customer) and define customer revenue strategy
Develop and manage effective relationships with the customers and ensure an effective distribution network and optimize Numer8s partnership with the customers to maximize sales and market returns
Effectively use customer/ product/ market data/knowledge to set up compelling and fact-based selling strategies
Optimize Numer8s trade marketing investments and initiative in the region
Manage sales operational excellence including demand forecasting, manage customer sell-through and orders and quality claims
Driving agreed on strategic projects to develop the market and support the long-term growth of the region
Lead a team of sales professional, operations team and finance professionals to effectively deliver the business objectives
Work closely with the product sourcing and procurement team to forecast supply and ensure availability of products (SKUs) at all times
With market pulse changing every day, keep tab on market intelligence and be one step ahead of the market change and be proactive in making changes in sales and supply plan
Update and train sales team on regular basis
Effectively manage supply chain and logistics for smooth execution of the sales plan
Coordinate with finance team to ensure business performance is on track
