Strong understanding of different versions of Linux - Server provisioning, Patching, vulnerability remediation, performance tuning.

Excellent troubleshooting skill.

Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages for systems automation

Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, iptables, LVM

Excellent problem-solving skills, including identifying and addressing performance problems, system defects, hardware issues in complex multi-tier application architecture

Able to work independently and effectively in a complex environment.

Is responsible for the installation and configuration of new software and hardware, including the server network, devices, and firewalls.

Provides support with escalated help desk requests. Incident analysis/RCAs/troubleshooting and identification of permanent resolutions

Proactively monitor product/services/site performance, uptime, availability and analyze logs / metrics.

Manage virtualized environment

Coordinate with Vendors for issues and their resolution

Experience in Clustering activities like Redhat, SuSE

Understand any one of the cloud environments (Aure/AWS).

Experience in Linux patching through any patching tools such as Chef/Ansible

Good communication, Organizational and analytical and troubleshooting skills. Also Good customer handling and interpersonal skills.
