Principal Architect (React Native, Firebase, Node architecture)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in developing web or mobile applications with experience in React Native and NodeJS architecture.

• Working knowledge of AWS or Google Cloud

• Working knowledge of MongoDB/Document DB, PostgreSQL/Redshift

• Microservices, RESTful web services, API Development

• Strong understanding of algorithmic, discrete math, data structures, computational complexity

• Technically Hands-on, prior experience with a scalable architecture.

• Experience working with Firebase Functions, Firestore & GCP

• An ambitious individual with good communication skills who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.

Responsibilities

• Own technical strategy for broad or complex requirements with insightful and forward-looking approaches that go beyond the direct team and solve large open-ended problems.

• Design and develop backend APIs that are scalable and reliable.

• Translate business/product requirements to shippable product.

• Work closely with other team members, resolve issues, and navigates obstacles to deliver a world-class product

• Mentor other engineers and deeply review code.

• Possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
